Don&#039;t let fear hold you back!  Perhaps you could start in a small way by making cakes for family, friends, functions?  Once people know you bake great cakes they will be calling you.  You don&#039;t need a lot of money at first to get started.  Find out what the rules are in your area regarding selling food items.  You can always approach a church kitchen or another business with a kitchen like I did to bake part time.  They get to make some extra income off their investment and it helps you too.  Print off some cheap business cards and go for it!  Be sure to enter local and regional baking competitions to get your name out there also.  Good luck to you, I wish you much success!
