Added Functionality at Cake Artisan

Just so you know I am in the process of adding a print button to the blog articles which will allow you to access a pdf version of the recipes and make them easier for you to print off.   You will find this new print button on the top right hand side  ——>Printable Version Button

I’ve had a few requests for this recently and I’m more than happy to oblige.  Thanks for your patience.. it takes a few steps to create the new document and add the button and link etc. I appreciate all the great feedback and will be working to make the site even more user friendly as we proceed.

I love the print feature- how did you do it? People have asked me to do it on my blog- I can’t figure out how!

Hi MamaKeith, I went to Word and created a document and saved it as pdf document so that is is formatted how I want it to be when people print it off. Then I made the graphic for the print icon and inserted it on the page. All you do then is make a hyperlink from the print icon to the document which has to be uploaded to your webserver and as a pdf it will open in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Hope that helps.
